October brings brisk mornings; the return of fuzzy socks and thick sweaters; mugs of hot tea; and Nester’s 31 Days link up, a time when hundreds of bloggers dedicate a month of posts to a topic of their choice.
This is my fourth 31 Days series, 31 Days of Killer Quotes. As a teen I kept a reading notebook, a place to jot down lines that particularly struck me with their beauty, wisdom, or ability to inspire.
Although I fell out of the habit for years, I now use an assortment of journals to hold fast to words whose power I don’t want to lose. Their sources include novels, non-fiction, songs, and the Bible.
Join me this month for a selection of my favorites! This post will contain links to them all.
