I have so, so many photos from the (in)courage getaway last weekend in Hilton Head. These were some of the last I took: sandy toes on the beach and hands happily displaying our new Lisa Leonard “dream God sized dreams” bracelets.
Toes (in no particular order): Robin, Arianne, Holley, Stephanie, me
Hands (in no particular order): Lisa, Sarah, Robin, Arianne, Holley, Stephanie
Two questions:
- What color are your toenails right now?
- When you wear a bracelet with writing on it, do you face the words “out” towards others or “in” towards you?
(we had a mix in both areas)
My toes are blue and I face mine out for others to read!
Love all the pictures. I’m way jealous :>) and hope that next year maybe some of us readers can join in the fun!
1. Sparkly, purple-y, taupe-y color.
2. Don’t have any bracelets with words on them. I think it would depend on the clasp. Meaning, I probably wouldn’t give it much thought except how to get the thing on. ; )
Vicki, that’s exactly what we’re hoping for. I’m picturing a weekend with readers, bloggers or non-bloggers who want to relax and fellowship with sisters in Christ.
Sounds like you guys had a great weekend!
My toes are a peachy pink color w/a cute flower design on them. I love to get my toenails done at a salon. It’s the one thing I do for myself.
Take care my friend! I hope CC is going good for you!
What lovely feet—not a bunion in sight! (sigh—mine used to look like that) My toenails are bright red all year round, except at Christmas when my daughter and I have matching pedicures with alternating red and green painted toenails, mine safely hidden underneath my socks.
I think I’d wear a worded bracelet just like a watch—facing me so I can read it.
My toes are unpainted right now. I usually have some color – pinks, reds, browns, purples – I mix it up! But I’m giving my nails a rest right now.
Bracelets? I usually try to face the words towards me, but if it’s easier to clasp the other way, then I’ll do that.
I LOVE Vicki’s idea of a beach weekend with (in)courage readers and writers! I would be there in a heartbeat!
My toes are red. My bracelet words face me to (in)courage 🙂 me!!
Let’s see . . . . my toes are hot pink and I’m not wearing any jewelry except earrings. I’m headed to swim lessons with the crew and it’s too stinkin’ hot in there to get dolled up. It’s like a sauna!
Rebekah, yes, being able to hook the clasp is pretty significant. 😉
Alicia, polished toes with flowers are my summer indulgence, too, although I was only able to do it once this summer. Now it’s a home polish job. 🙂
We’re 3 weeks into CC. It’s tough but rewarding.
Rachel, we’re hoping there’s an (in)courage beach weekend for everyone in the future!
Melissa, I face the words towards me, too. I was sitting with friends last night and my elbows were on the table (bad manners, I know) and I realized that my friend was reading my new bracelet, and with my arms like that, it was right-side up for her, too. 🙂
Ruthanne, I understand the “too stinkin’ hot” thing. I’m so ready for fall.
toenails are a very chipped deep maroon. the bracelet thing, always wear it with the words so that I can read them…
