It’s good to be home, importing photos and unpacking my suitcase, after a relaxing weekend with twelve other (in)courage bloggers in Hilton Head Island, SC.
Becoming a part of (in)courage is one of the best things that’s happened to me in four+ years of blogging. With its emphasis on encouragement, support, and community—all to the glory of God—it’s a beautiful place to be, both for readers and writers.
Along with DaySpring, the Hilton Head Island Visitor & Convention Bureau sponsored our trip. Jessica and Cathy took really good care of us.
Our beach house was provided complimentary by Hilton Head Rentals & Golf and housed us all in comfort and style.
Dolphin tour provided complimentary by Captain Jamie and H2O Sports Hilton Head Island.
Bike rentals provided complimentary by Low Sea Bike, Beach, and Baby Rental, Inc. (They won’t rent you a baby, but they have the gear you need to vacation with one of your own.)
Arianne’s cool shoes.
Catered reception by Soozi and Linda Weddings and Parties. I begged for the Vidalia Onion Tart recipe, but it’s a guarded family secret.
Saturday evening dinner was at the Aqua Grille and Lounge, where I had a filet and a divine creation known as Marquis au Chocolate.
Breakfast Friday and Saturday provided by Signe’s Heaven Bound Bakery & Cafe. This Deep Dish French Toast was featured on The Food Network. Yum!
There’s much more to show and tell, but for now I wanted to thank all the people and businesses who made us feel so special this weekend. If you’re looking for a vacation destination where you can enjoy nature, relax, and have opportunities for outdoor activities, consider Hilton Head.
{Disclosure: DaySpring and Hilton Head Island Chamber of Commerce hosted the (in)courage bloggers for a long weekend of relaxation and fun. Hilton Head Island Chamber of Commerce generously provided the accommodations at the amazing beach house, bikes, an ocean cruise, and dinner at The Aqua Grille & Lounge. DaySpring took care of all the incidentals and meals for each of the bloggers.}
I’m trying to decide which I like better, the beach house or the food!
