February2018SM

Hello, friends! I hope your new year is off to a good start. I want to share a couple of things that are adding some zing to my new year!

Movie Pass

First is MOVIE PASS!!!! How did I not know this existed?

Movie Pass is a service that lets you see a movie a day in theaters nationwide for only $9.95 per month. That’s less than the cost of one ticket in many theaters! You can also purchase the card with a one year subscription for $89.99 at Costco, which is like getting three months free. It can’t be used for 3D or IMAX, and there are no blackout dates.

Just go to the site and enter your zip code to find out if it’s accepted in theaters near you; it seems to work at all of them near us.

It took a week to receive our cards, which arrived Saturday. My husband and I each got one and we saw four movies in the first three days. On Saturday and Sunday we saw matinees in between other things we were doing—no need to overanalyze since it wasn’t a financial decision.

We’ve already seen Paddington 2 (I had seen it but not my husband; normally we wouldn’t have paid for me to see it twice), The Shape of Water (warning: this one has strong content), and The Post.

Savvy Minerals Starter Kit

I’m sharing more online and in person about Young Living Essential Oils and how they’ve benefitted our family. In addition to the premium starter kits of oils, today Young Living launched new starter kits for their Savvy Minerals makeup line!

I have been using the misting spray, foundation, mineral veil, eye shadow, lipstick, and lipgloss for a few months and I’m excited to try the other products. The brushes are supposed to be incredible too.

For more about our oils journey and how you can rid your home of chemicals and support your family’s wellness—all while wearing toxin-free makeup! :)—just visit my Essential Oils page.

If you live here in the Atlanta area and would like to host a class (or attend one at my home), I’d love to teach one for you!

If you’re not sure what exactly essential oils are or how you’d use them, you might enjoy this “A Day in the Life of an Oiler” video my son and I put together a couple of weeks ago. (Email subscribers may need to visit the post to see it.)

Download February’s Desktop Calendar

This month’s calendar image was taken in 2011, but it came to mind while looking for a photo for February. The tulips in such a rich shade seemed appropriate for Valentine’s Day.

Enjoy!
