Friday’s concert marks SNC’s seventh visit to Atlanta and their second to the Fox. I’m happy to say I’ve been in the audience cheering them on since I met the group at a 2009 blogger meet and greet; I wouldn’t miss Friday’s show.

The New Old Fashioned, Straight No Chaser’s seventh studio album, released last week. It contains a mix of older songs, current hits, and one original song, characterized by the lush vocals and stunning arrangements we’ve come to expect from SNC.

I love seeing Straight No Chaser at this time of year. Their Christmas albums are some of my favorites:

Even though I live two hours from Atlanta, I’d love to make the trip to hear this band! And, I’d bring my two teenage daughters.
