Thank you sweet readers who remind me each month to make a desktop calendar for you. I enjoy them, too! We had SNOW in Atlanta last week and this is a frosty little bud from my front yard.

Free Editing Software
I edited this photo with a free editing program from OnOne Software called Perfect Effects 4 (click over and download it for yourself). I used the effect Textures – Paper: Rice Paper Light.
Perfect Effects 4 Free can be used as a standalone or directly with Adobe® Lightroom®, Photoshop®, Photoshop Elements, or Apple® Aperture® and does not apply any watermarks nor impose limited-time usage.
Here’s the original as a comparison:
I start in Lightroom, choose to edit in Perfect Effects 4, and if I apply changes it saves an edited copy back into Lightroom for me. Easy peasy.
Enjoy your calendar and your new software! If you’re on Pinterest, hover over the calendar image at the top of this post and click Pin It to share with others!
Another beautiful photo and editing by you, Dawn. Thanks for sharing!
*can I point out that the calendar says November 2013? 🙂
Oops! Working on it!
love the photo, and Blossom is correct, no matter what size you download it says November on it.
Doggone it! Fixing it now. I find the month that stars closest to the same day of the week and start building the new calendar from there. I just forgot to update the month!
Yay! it’s fixed. Beautiful and being downloaded 🙂
Thanks again!
Woot! Woot! Thanks so much!
You’re most welcome! 🙂
THANK YOU for the awesome calendar. I have the one you made from October…but it was something I had seen that someone shared on one of their Facebook pages and I couldn’t remember where the original source was from. This is great. I’d like to download a copy to save to my phone. Which size is best for smart phones?
Thanks for making these for us. Please continue to do so. It adds some nice beauty to my phone 🙂 🙂
Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather 😉 🙂 🙂
I didn’t even think about for phones. I use the small size on my iPad. You could try it on a phone? Maybe I should add a special phone calendar each month . . .
HI Dawn,
A phone version would be awesome 🙂 🙂 My phone has a weird thing about landscape photos set as the home screen. It seems to much prefer portrait photos when setting them as the home screen. So in this case, to get the full calendar on my phone, I had to rotate it on its side and save it. It works for me…but a portrait version of your calendar would be awesome 🙂 🙂
I can use any size photo on my phone…but I did go for the small 1280×800 version this time around 😉 🙂
Love it! Thank you! I can’t believe it’s already February!
No, I CANNOT believe it’s February. It’s short, so March will be here before we know it!
