How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!
My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.
Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.
~Psalm 84:1-4
Oh, so lovely and one of my favorite scriptures. Full of sweetness, full of hope and life.
Blessings,
Gayle
“Even the sparrow has found a home”. This is what I am clinging to today. Blessings!
This photo illustrates the text so well. Beautiful!
Beautiful Word/photo. I love Psalms… read it so often. Live there when life is stressful. Thank you for sharing.
Love it… and always love the birds. They seem to be so trusting.
Sweet capture!
A scripture of life and hope deserves a serene picture like that. 🙂
Reading verse can really makes you feel at ease. Yes it’s true that the words are deep and sometimes hard to understand what the verse is trying to convey but when you focus on reading the verse..you’ll suddenly find yourself reflecting about your life.
