I’ve made a conscious effort to bless a few others today, but such sweet kindness was shown to me. Such a great reminder that it takes so little to sometimes bless someone else’s socks off.
it often takes hard physical work to bless others… like with our 18” of fresh snow and a snow scoop… helping others weaker to get out of driveways!
or making that salad to bless a group of 20
or cleaning house real well to be ready for ladies tea… and all the fixings for them
or taking someone’s kids in an emergency
or pressing on and on when you have no one to help but it is needing to be done and maybe no one notices, but God does, and He puts a song in your heart
sometimes the helping is easy and natural, sometimes it takes all your strength but you do it for Jesus and the blessing you get for the joyous serving is like no other!
Susan, you’re so right. Sometimes it really takes a small effort to bless someone abundantly. 🙂
I just love what you said here, especially: “or pressing on and on when you have no one to help but it is needing to be done and maybe no one notices, but God does, and He puts a song in your heart.” Thank you for your words!
