Saturday afternoon my family met a group of Atlanta bloggers and their families to try Wendy’s new Berry Almond Chicken Salad, a fresh new menu item containing strawberries, blueberries, almonds, shaved Asiago cheese, and raspberry vinaigrette dressing. I couldn’t resist adding the Wild Berry Tea, which was as sweet and Southern and fruity as I hoped it would be.
It’s always a treat to get together with local bloggers, or any bloggers for that matter: people who understand the compulsion to photograph, describe, and analyze life’s moments and to connect online.
Let’s be honest: we eat a decent amount of fast food, but I don’t always expect high quality. This Berry Almond Chicken Salad, however, was really good. The berries were fresh, not frozen, and the Asiago cheese and almonds offset and enhanced their sweetness perfectly.
Because the berries are fresh and homegrown right here in the USA, this salad is available for a limited time. Get it while you can!

Loved hugging you, Dawn!!
Ditto, Mishelle! 🙂
I actually went there today and got this salad. It was really good. Glad they offer some decent salads now, before I could only go to ChickFilA for a good ‘fast food’ salad. The cashier even said “God Bless” when I picked up my food!!
Adena, I’m so glad you liked it and had a good experience. I’ve already gone back and eaten it again since I wrote this. 🙂
