Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
~ Proverbs 14:1

This verse creates a very vivid mental image for me: a wise, calm woman with a contented husband and children and a lovely, relaxed home, vs. a foolish, crazy woman tearing down everything she’s built.

Too often, I feel like the second one.

We can build our house by caring for our husband and children, and running our homes well. I want to be the wise woman, not the foolish.
