The 25th anniversary gift I ordered for my husband arrived in the mail a month ahead of time. At the time, we had no idea we’d be making this trip. I wanted to give him something special and meaningful, a token of my love and affection (much like the way a marriage begins).
Although intending to save it for the occasion, I gave him his KJV Study Bible early not wanting to see him making notes in his old Bible that he’d later wish were in the new. I had no idea how much it would mean to him that this was the gift I chose.
Yesterday morning I looked out on the deck of our cabin and saw him sitting there reading. This will be a cherished memory of our trip.
His gifts to me are this anniversary trip; our quiet cabin in the mountains; our children; his love.

What a fabulous picture. Glad you’re having a wonderful time.
My wedding gift to David was a rather large KJV family Bible. I had to special order it and filled in our family tree and wedding date. 🙂
I have never owned a study Bible before. Looking at the reviews on Amazon, you picked a really nice one. Are you pleased with the construction/craftsmanship of that Bible? There were some concerns about the cover or pages falling out.
