Today the kids and I attended Braves’ Homeschool Day at Turner Field. Another post will probably follow, but for tonight I want to show you some images of my youngest that were captured and have smitten me.
Please don’t look too closely at the hair line on my selection here. I’m a busy gal and just didn’t have time to do it justice. Believe it or not, there’s no editing of her eyes here, either. They just have a lot of natural contrast in the iris.
I did fudge some eye editing on this second one, mainly because the focus was a little fuzzy. Oops!
No eye edit here, either. The preset is adding some extra contrast though.
Lightroom presets were applied to each photo. In case you’re interested, here’s what I used:
1st photo: Lightroom 3 preset Creative – Split Tone 1
2nd photo: Lightroom 3 preset Color Creative – Direct Positive
3rd photo: PH childhood BW
Beautiful pictures of your little girl! We are in ATL, too, but have tux for a game next week and did not go yesterday. Love your blog!
gorgeous images and a beautiful little girl…
I know a lot of people edit their work, beyond lighting up my images I dont do much so I wouldnt notice or know the new features people can use. but her eyes do stand out…wonder where she got that???
What amazing eyes she has! My favorite is the third one… one part of me says it should be the first one, but there is something about that last one that just {gets me}.
Aw man… when we came down to ATL for the National Hebrew event, I went to the Braves tent and asked them SPECIFICALLY about the homeschool day. One of the guys at the table said he had been in charge of it last year and there were no plans to have it this season. I’m so bummed.
BUT! You have beautiful pictures. I love those eyes AND I’m happy you told us they are unedited. I always wondered about some eyes…
Beautiful! I miss you guys so much! =) You take lovely pictures. Your blog design is lovely, too! =) Will you be at Relevant?
Love,
Sprittibee’s daughter (meesalees)
