Upon discovering Emily Rose at Simply Vintagegirl, I was struck by what a talented and charming young lady she is. Photography, homemaking, nature study, homeschooling—her blog has a lively mix of them all. When I “met” her sister, Breezy, too, I was sure that their home must be a virtual beehive of artistic ability and creativity.

They’ve had a big surprise in the works that is finally unveiled: the Daughters of His Story Paper Doll Series of Historical Women in Christ’s Kingdom from their new home business website, Noble Rose Press.

There are three Daughters of His Story sets of paper dolls, each containing two historical women:

  • Collection One features two ladies from the Reformation: Katharina von Bora (hospitable wife of Martin Luther the great reformer) and Idelette Calvin (caring wife of John Calvin the great theologian).
  • Collection Two features two ladies from the 1700’s: Abigail Adams (encouraging wife of our second president, John Adams) and Sarah Edwards (diligent wife of Jonathan Edwards the great preacher).
  • Collection Three features two ladies from the 1600’s: Pocahontas (peacemaking ally of Jamestown who married John Rolfe) and Priscilla Mullins (faithful pilgrim who came to America on the Mayflower and married John Alden).

They can be purchased individually or in a bundled set. Unable to choose—they are all so nice!—I bought the bundled set for my daughters for Christmas.

This is such an impressive endeavor for two homeschooled teen girls. I’m so proud of them, and have shared the Noble Rose Press website with friends in my church and homeschool group.

Guess what? Emily Rose and Breezy have donated three individual collections to be given away here to three readers!

How to Enter

Visit Noble Rose Press and let us know which collection is your favorite. It isn’t easy, which is why I ordered the bundle. Contest ends Sunday, October 25.
