When I got my beloved iMac, it was soon apparent that I would have to keep my nails clipped reasonably close or they would tap the keys on the row above with the newer ultrathin keyboard. Lately I’m noticing that a lot of my photos lately seem to be composed really strangely and off-centered. Apparently my bangs, which I’ve worn long for some time – between mouth and chin length – are falling between my eye and the viewfinder on the right side and obstructing my view of the shot.
My first thought was to just cut them short (it’s time to trim the nails again, too), but do I really want short bangs or am I just considering it because of the camera?
What would you do?
This is so funny – I think this is the kind of thing women can’t help but consider. My nail are long, but I use a true keyboard – I have wondered what will happen when I eventually get a laptop 🙂 I think I am a ‘grin and suffer’ through it kind of girl 🙂
I hadn’t really thought about it before, but I do keep my hair long enough that I can pull it back in a pony tail so it’s not blowing around my face as I take pictures.
And about a hundred years ago when I was a transcriptionist, the receptionist in the doctor’s office BEGGED me to cut my nails because she said it sounded like rats running across the keyboard as I typed (it was a typewriter at that time)…I cut my nails, and still keep them cut short. I can’t deal with that mental picture!! 😉
