Three of my best girlfriends from church and I just spent a wonderful weekend in the mountains. The house where we stayed was decorated beautifully and I took many shots, hoping for a little inspiration to carry home with me.

This photo has such incredible warmth – not unlike the experience within which it was captured. Beautiful work, Dawn (no surprise, of course!)

Oh, how I love pottery. If I could, I would have all of my dishes be pottery. I do have a few pieces that I love. My great-grandmother has a set of Peter Pots pottery that will be mine when she passes away. It is gorgeous. But, I’d rather have her.
I am glad that you had a wonderful time in the mountains. I knew you were really, really looking forward to your mini-vacation.
Hope you found some inspiration! We all need that at times.

Really lovely picture. I like the colors and the way you captured the bowl so well, but didn’t blur the background too much. Nice shot!
