My four-year-old daughter hooked into her carseat this afternoon and yelled, “The ghost is clear!”
“What?” I asked, wondering if I’d heard correctly.
“The ghost is clear! That means there are no ghost-es and it’s clear.”
What cute sayings do your kids have?
My 2yr old son this week was wondering where the ‘kiss-kiss’ tree was (the Christmas tree!)
thanks for your site, I enjoy
Oh, that made me laugh!!
Eve calls Cinderella’s Prince Charming – “Prince Charlie”. I am thrown into a fit of giggles every time she says it.

I have lists and lists of these. 🙂 Every year when we send out Christmas letters we always include 8-10 of them.
My favorite from last year was not from the kids, however. It was from KEV (daddy):
“Darth Vadar only chokes people because he has low self-esteem.”
LOL (He’s my biggest kid)
from my grandaughter…..rainbrella for umbrella, grandson says swenchia for sandwich, grandaughter, bob walker for walkman…. I too have kept a journal of these sweet words including when my grandson said “Nana, if Jesus collected all of the tears that have ever been cried, how long would it rain” WOW that one blew me away!!! God Bless, Pam, South Bend
Oh, that is so funny. I just love hearing their takes on everyday sayings.
My 5 year old says “that hurts like the chickens!” and says that he’s “getting the hank of it.”
My 10 year still says “fridge-er-drater.” I’ve nearly given up correcting him.
I love your recent photos! Your kids are growing up too quickly! (Mine, too…sigh…) 🙂
Hi Dawn! I loved it when my dtr. was 3 and she looked around the room and said, “Mommy, what corner is Christmas around?”
