My 7-year-old daughter (a.k.a. Drama Queen) and her girlfriends at church often make plans to wear matching clothes on Sunday morning. She doesn’t understand why my friends and I don’t do the same thing. Last week it looked like we did. Black and white – often combined with polka dots – seemed to be the theme of the day among the ladies at church. It looked so amazingly well-planned and coordinated that one of my dearest friends, Michelle, nabbed three of us and we stepped out behind the church where her 7-year-old daughter (yea, Syd!) took a couple of pictures. The truly amazing thing is that Michelle presented us with framed, cropped, sepia-tinted photos this Sunday morning. Do I have great friends, or what?
What a great picture!! But what about being blonde? One didn’t get the memo!!
I love polka dots and so does my daughter. She likes the Audrey Hepburn look!
Love it! Today at work, 3 of us, (one male and two females) wore the same color. I found it amusing that the guy was the first one who noticed.
Several people have commented to me that I was the only non-blonde.
I love you girls and memories captured together are always special.
How fun and yes, wonderful friends.
BTW, love your blog design.
How fun!
Are you sure you didn’t call each other…you guys looked like you put some effort into it. How nice that you captured your “togetherness” and that you have a fun memory together! (glad someone had a camera!)
So nice to have friends…lovely that some of your friends are also Sisters!
