August's Desktop Calendar is Here!

Thank you to everyone who emailed to say you’d missed decorating your desktop with these desktop calendars. It means a lot!

August’s calendar comes from the Red Oak Lavender Farm here in north Georgia, When experts said lavender couldn’t be grown in Georgia, these folks were determined to do it. In spite of the limitations caused by our climate, Georgians can stroll through fragrant lavender fields and on this Dahlonega farm.

They grow a variety of flowers and sell potted plants, fresh flowers, and seeds. Visit the gift shop for dried lavender bundles and other gift items. I’m still sad I missed the lavender ice cream when I attended their yearly festival!
