Please click over to (in)courage to read my post this month: Jesus in the Metadata, which tells the story of the mini Help-Portrait event I participated in at the Allume conference last month.
This will be my fifth year as a Help-Portrait volunteer; it’s one of the best things I do. Last year someone read about HP on my blog on the Wednesday before the event (this year it’s Saturday, December 7); volunteered; and that Saturday we worked together most of the day.
Please take a moment to check for a Help-Portrait location near you and see what you can do to help. Volunteers include greeters, photographers, photo editors, make up artists, hair stylists, and runners to take memory cards back and forth and pick up lunch for the other volunteers.
If you want to help, there’s a job for you!
Go read Jesus in the Metadata, check your calendar to see if you can volunteer, and please leave a comment here if you do.
I’d love to hear about it!
