Today I’d like to introduce you to my friend Jennifer from Studio JRU. Jennifer is a fellow (in)courage author and an incredibly talented multi-media artist. The items in her shop are so lovely it took awhile to choose which one to review; now I’ve got to figure out which girls’ room to hang it in.

Jennifer’s shop includes mixed media pieces on wooden canvases, and prints, many of which are of her original art pieces. I love the feeling of depth and texture conveyed, because of the multimedia originals on which they’re based.
Here’s the Inspiration/Story Behind This Product for the one I chose:
This art piece is inspired by me as a little girl. I was encouraged to dream and follow my dreams. My mom and dad fully supported that i wanted art as my career and they did whatever they could to encourage and help me with my dream. I just could not ask for a more supportive family.
I know I am blessed. I also know that this is not the same situation for many young people. I want this art piece to be a source of encouragement and support for any little girl and her dreams. I want her to know she can do anything she dreams of. I want her to know her dreams are a gift from God. He puts those dreams in her heart and He supports her dreams. He encourages her dreams.
