Do you ever wish you could just hit the pause button?

Maybe that sounds unusual in the middle of a global pandemic, but it’s how I feel lately. Life is spinning by so fast it makes me dizzy.

Our youngest son had his high school graduation ceremony Saturday. I’m so proud of him and grateful for the hard work of those who finally were able to make it happen; it wasn’t easy. We’ve become so dazed and confused sometimes it’s hard to snap out of it and do normal things.

We’ve got one month with him before he joins his team to participate in the World Race Gap Year program and we plan to make the most of it!

Things look a little different around here!

I’m completing a major site redesign so click on over to the site if you’re an email subscriber and tell me what you think! If you click a button on the site and nothing happens, let me know. Seriously!

Speaking of how things look and email subscriptions, I’ve been publishing posts with smaller images at first because it messes up the subscription emails when I use large ones (it’s difficult to read the text because it stretches the email so wide, if that makes sense). I go back and put larger images on the posts later. I wish I knew a workaround, but I don’t.

A Prayer Request

This weekend I heard about a high school student in our community who lost both his parents to COVID-19 this week and is fighting the virus himself. It breaks my heart and I can’t get it out of my mind. I’ve been told the young man’s name is Justin. Please join me in prayer.

This photo is from the big, fragrant gardenia bush in our front yard. I wish I could offer this month’s calendar in scratch and sniff!
