Georgia State Capitol with Beams of Light

“I love how the light streams from behind the clouds,” I comment, admiring rays painted across the sky individually with a God-sized, fine-tipped brush.

“Jesus Light,” says one of my teen daughters and the other confirms the name. “Everyone calls it that.”

This name, Jesus Light, is new to me; I find it comforting that my children and their friends use it. Eyes that discern Jesus in the strokes of light emanating from behind the clouds can see Him in His glory, in His majesty.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could always see Him so clearly? If we could easily discern His will and plan for our lives? Our purpose here on earth is to reflect Him. How well do we do that? Is it apparent to those around us?

Do you know someone who radiates Jesus Light?

I want to live in a way that others see His light in me.
