1. Does chikin make you merry?, 2. Smyle 🙂, 3. Presenting the foil “M” to her friends @Moes_HQ, 4. Flavor I’ve never tried…, 5. Learning to knit, 6. Yum!!!, 7. Lunch smoothie, 8. Just had an 80s flashback, 9. My Jedi daughter, 10. How did my sweet daughter get mixed up in this drama… 😉
Thursday evening my 11-year-old daughter and I attended a prescreening for “The Muppets,” which I loved. Anyone will enjoy it, but if you grew up watching the Muppets you seriously do not want to miss it. Afterwards, we wandered into the arcade, where we played a fierce game of air hockey and I blew $1 on a “Class of 1981” edition Galaga/Ms. Pac-Man. I played Galaga and scored almost 100,000 points, giving my “shoot” finger the best workout it’s had in years.
Riding home in the sweet 2012 Nissan Quest I’m reviewing this week (hello, my name is Dawn and I want to drive your car) I discovered a new Atlanta station that plays hits from the 80s and 90s. By the time we’d heard Devo, Culture Club, Duran and Duran, and “Until I Fall Away” by the Gin Blossoms, I knew I’d be plugging a new station into my presets.
The Muppets, Galaga, and favorite tunes from the 80s and 90s combined to make a surreal flashback evening.
I saw this huge centerpiece at a local design company and fell in love with it. So creative! I would love something like this but have no idea where I’d find the cotton plants.
If you live in the Atlanta area, you won’t want to miss this upcoming giveaway: 4 tickets to the December 1st opening night of A Christmas Carol at the Alliance Theatre.
What did your camera phone capture this week?
I have always been a huge Muppets fan!! Love your beautiful photos. Especially the rain and the gorgeous yellow leaf. Thanks again for hosting CPF and prompting lots of phone photo fun at our house 🙂
Can’t wait to see the Muppet Movie! The cotton centerpiece is very cool! Have a great day.
I have to admit, they scare me. I remember an episode with the muppets in the Cosby show, It totally gave me nightmares. haha!
