This week’s theme at iHeartFaces is Wind. This photo is from last summer at Braves’ Homeschool Day. Because of the afternoon heat, I’d asked for shady seats high behind home plate, and they took me seriously. We kept climbing and climbing until we found ourselves on the very top row of the stadium!
We stayed cool with the combination of shade and the wind tunnel affect of open air behind us. I love the movement and dynamic it created in the shots I took that day.
There is something poignant, almost heartbreaking about this image of my youngest child. Her eyes, her little mouth—I find the expression so compelling.
I do believe I have some pictures from Braves games similar to this!! I love this photo.
