We saw a bush with these enormous flowers on it while hiking Wednesday. I have no clue what these are, but the blooms were the size of a child’s head. Do you know? If so, please leave it in comments.

Rhododendron ramsdenianum
Trusses of 12; Dark Spotted, Scarlet Flowers in May to June. Leathery Dark Green Foliage; Late Flowerer. 5ft.
Tubular-campanulate rose, bright crimson, purplish-red, sometimes with botch and spotting. Truss holds 12-15 flowers. Flowering is sporadic.
Geographical Origin: China(SE Tibet)
